ASME Code Pressure Vessels

In 1958, just seven years after our founding, we earned our Certificate of Authorization (#4796) to apply the ASME “U Stamp” to pressure vessels and components constructed in accordance with the requirements of ASME Code, Section VIII, Div. 1 and related Sections. We later earned our National Board “R Stamp” Certification and our National Board “NB” Stamp. Our ASME credential has led to the development of our in-house Quality Control Program and to the implementation of a quality culture in everything that we do. For example, all of our welders are tested and certified to our ASME Code qualified welding procedures; and, we maintain traceability and certifications on a wide variety of materials held in our inventory. We strive to ensure that this quality standard is reflected in all of the work that we produce.

While there are many ASME Code shops that produce “standard” vessels in a few configurations, we are more specialized and experienced in developing and fabricating pressure vessels that are suited to your specific need. Examples would include single wall or conventional jackets; removable heads; dished, flat, or conical heads; internal coils and baffles, and provisions for internal/external equipment such as packing, spargers, platforms, ladders, insulation or mixers.

We have fabricated, altered, and repaired both horizontal and vertical vessels ranging in diameter from 6” up to 96” and up to 50 feet in overall length, and to a maximum 3000 PSIG design pressure in Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Titanium and Nickel Alloys. Depending on geometries, operating conditions and materials, wall thicknesses can range from 1/16” to 2” or more. In addition, we have fabricated, altered or repaired vessels weighing up to 40,000 lbs.

We can also produce vessels that are lined or coated, or prepared for such enhancements by others. We have produced vessels requiring Post Weld Heat Treatment, Radiography, UT, PT, WFMP, etc.

We understand the importance of providing full documentation and certifications along with any pressure vessel project. Therefore, registration of Pressure Vessels with The National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors (National Board) is included where appropriate. If your process requires Reactors, Columns, Mixing Vessels, Storage Vessels, Knock Out Pots, Seal Pots, or vessels for filtration or fluid beds, we are ready to assist.
